The book analyzes the influence of globalization processes on the system of interpersonal, national and social relations, the processes of post -cyvilization evolution of society are revealed. The author manages to discover new aspects of what is happening today in the spiritual life of a person, how the system of values, spiritual orientations are changing.
A lot of attention in the study is given to the concepts of “I” and “others”, the problems of civilizational “self -destruction” - the global public trend of our time, the search for ways to integrate social self -awareness. Historical forms of utopian thinking are analyzed in the light of ideas about possible universal harmony and illusory images of paradise on Earth.
The author emphasizes that the humanities performing the functions of correction of mass consciousness and behavior, a kind of moral moderator, contribute to the creation of barriers on the path of destructive forms of self -realization of a person, stand in a creative role, help to decide on a pole perception of truth and lies, freedom and moral enslavement
