City Almanac. Issue 4

The central theme of the fourth issue of Almanac was the socio-economic development of the cities of the Russian Far East. Materials were provided by specialists of a number of Far Eastern Expert Centers, such as the Institute of Economic Research of the Far Eastern RAS, GU "Ralia Market", the Far Eastern Center for Social Innovation, Experts of the Association of Cities of Siberia and the Far East, Employees of the Institute of the city"s economy. It also examines the next results of the IEG project on monitoring the implementation of local self-government reform. The publication of materials on topical problems of urban management in such areas as planning socio-economic development, municipal finances and intergovernmental relations, housing and communal complex management, formation of urban agglomerations. Several articles presents the experience of Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan.
