"Citadel" is the greatest creation of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the peak of his artistic philosophy. This powerful, uncomplicable literary fortress was erected by a writer for many years with maximum return and endless love.
Since the "Citadel" was not completed (Saint-Exupery always repeated that he never finished her), and the book itself was too voluminous and difficult to read, French writer Michel Kenel at the request of the heir family did an attempt to edit it, spending Some abbreviations and reversals, thereby brighter allocating all artistic advantages. The new version turned out to be more affordable and popular, helped closer readers to this inimitable masterpiece of the Great Writer-architect, building in the heart of each own citadel.
In Russian, published in the brilliant translation of Marianna Kozhevnikova
