The constructions of various types of circular sawmills were considered: sawmills with log carriage feed (CDT-6M, CDT-7, KARA, CDS-710, etc.), sawmills with roller or chain feed, sawmills with conveyor feed, sawmills for cross-cutting logs (AC-1, LC-60, PA-15, etc.). Information is provided on the construction of circular saws made of 9XHF steel according to GOST 980-80, as well as with carbide-tipped plates VK15 and stellite hardfacing according to GOST R 54489-11. Information on preparing saws for work is presented. Accuracy standards for setting saws on the machine are given.
