Tom Shone is a well-known American film critic and writer, a professor at New York University. "Christopher Nolan: Films, Riddles, and Wonders of a Cult Director" is a study of the phenomenon of Christopher Nolan, the most enigmatic and commercially successful director of modern times, created with his participation. Drawing on interviews conducted over three years of conversations, Shone lifts the veil of mystery surrounding Nolan's life and work, as he "perfected the art of talking about his films for a long time, without revealing anything about himself." In conversation with Shone, the director reflects on the evolution of his films, as well as discussing music, architecture, artists, and writers who have influenced his creative vision and served as inspiration for his work. Book highlights: • The book is co-authored with Christopher Nolan, • Unique stills from the sets and storyboards, • Photographs from the director's personal archive.
