For many residents of Christian countries, Islam is a foreign, even threatening religion, which most people know from negatively colored messages in the press and television. But everything indicates that in the future, the influence of Islam in Europe will only strengthen. However, this should not scare Christians - because the emerging situation can be used to talk about their principles to representatives of another faith and establish friendly contact with them.
Both religions have a lot in common: a high regard for the Word of God, reverence for the Creator and humanity, emphasis on the importance of moral law, faith in the Messiah, Jesus, and hope for his coming. By focusing on similarities rather than differences, a common ground can be found. But first, Christians need to learn to see Islam as a living religion and culture. This can be done by familiarizing themselves with the basics of faith and the fundamental principles of Islam. This book contributes to this. At the same time, it aims to empower readers with the courage for encounters, discussions, and missionary testimony.
