The collective scientific monograph is the result of the joint work of historians and specialists in the field of confessional issues. It was prepared based on the results of the international scientific conference 'Christian Confessions in the Occupied Territories of the USSR, 1941-1944', organized by the St. Philaret Institute (Moscow, Russia) and the Yanka Kupala Grodno State University (Grodno, Belarus) and held on November 25-26, 2021. Various aspects of church life under German occupation are presented in the book: the organization of diocesan and parish life, charity, spiritual enlightenment, relations with the German administration, and jurisdictional issues. The monograph is addressed to specialists in the history of the church of the 20th century, as well as to all those interested in the history of the homeland and the confessional history of the period of the Second World War.
