The author of the textbook, Professor Igor Grigoryevich Esaulov, a laureate of several all-Union competitions of ballet masters, a student of choreographers L. M. Lavrovsky, R. V. Zakharov, Yu. N. Grigorovich, L. V. Yakobson, K. A.
