The book is composed of two parts, devoted to the eternal problem of mankind - the problem of life and death.
The first part is an analysis of the text of the Tibetan Book of the Dead from the perspective of a Western psychologist-researcher. The analogies in the symbolic description of posthumous states, characteristic of various religious-philosophical and scientific systems (Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, modern psychology) have been identified and examined in sufficient detail.
The second part of the book provides the main provisions of timeless wisdom regarding the determination of death, its stages and subjective states - how they are set forth in the Mahatm letters, the works of Juel Khula -A.A. Bailey and modern psychologists. Since the mentioned books are difficult to perceive by the reader, unfamiliar with esoteric psychology, an attempt was made to adapt the teaching to Western perception and mentality.
