This edition presents the fourth, final part of the Book Four, written by the Great Mag, the head of the Order of the Eastern Templars Alistair Crowley (1875-1947) The basis of its content is the "Book of the Law" ("Liber Al Vel Legis Sub Fi Gura CCXX"), with which the whole life and teachings of Crowley were associated. He was not the author of this prophetic book, but only recorded it with the voice of a certain highest essence named Aivass, who dictated this text to him on April 8-10, 1904 in Cairo. Crowley was sure that the "Book of the Law" was a source of spiritual principles of the new Eon and the key to the transition to a new stage in the evolution of all mankind.
"Equal for the gods" is an amazing story about how the “Book of the Law” was written and what circumstances led to its receipt. This book includes extensive biographical information, excerpts from personal diaries, descriptions of ritual work and comments on individual verses of the "Book of the Law", as well as the full text of "Liber Al" and the reproductions of its manuscript.
For several decades, Crowley worked on the interpretation of the "Book of the Law", understandable not only to the initiates, but also to the general public. The result of this work, completed with the help of Luis Wilkinson, a famous English writer and one of Crowley"s closest friends, was a popular comment presented in this edition entitled "Law - for All"
