Shatarudria consists of eleven passages, anuvak. Each anuvak contains several hymns of various Vedic poetic sizes. Each anthem has its own seer - Rishi and devet. Sometimes, in some places, Rishi alone belongs to more than one anthem. In the first Anuvak, prayer to the god Rudra asks him to be kind and generous. From the second to the ninth Anuvak, God is welcomed, like Sarvatma, all the forms of which the world consists of, the Sarvantari, all supporting, and, also, Sarveshwara, the god of everything. The tenth Anuvak consists of prayers to God, in the eleventh Anuvak God is revered in the form of many devat, supporting different spheres of experience.
