Emanuel Swedenborg is invariably called among outstanding scientists and original thinkers of the 18th century. His talent is striking in its versatility: classes of natural sciences, mathematics, economics, politics organically combined with interest in theosophy and theology. His theories anticipated the discoveries of the 20th century, his religious and philosophical searches had a huge impact on many cultural figures and science, including such writers and philosophers as K.G. Jung, H.L. Bolkhes, V.S. Soloviev, N.A. Berdyaev, V.I. Vernadsky et al. Swedenborg became famous as a seer, who managed to accurately predict many events, including the date of his death. The treatise “On Heaven, about the World of Spirits and about Ada” is the most famous work of the Swedish clairvoyant, where he describes in detail everything that he learned during the revelations: about the structure of the Kingdom of Heaven and about the hell, about providence and angels, about heavenly bliss and about human life itself
