Majestic dragons, divine emperors, spirits of mountains, rivers, and seas... Over two thousand years ago, the Chinese told stories that were as complex as the myths of Ancient Greece, yet completely different from them. Interweaving with other religions and teachings such as Daoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism, ancient Chinese myths evolved and grew with new motifs and plots. Despite all the changes, these legends never died out and continue to amaze to this day.
