This textbook is aimed at applying knowledge, skills, and abilities in elementary learning situations and developing foreign language communicative competence at the elementary level of proficiency. The author's methodological concept is based on modern linguistic and didactic approaches (communicative, intercultural) to teaching a foreign language, modern methods of teaching hieroglyphic writing, technologies for developing students' speech, based on the staged formation of language skills and speech abilities. The system of exercises in each lesson of the textbook consists of a chain of interconnected exercises that allow students to express their thoughts in Chinese in oral and written form. To comply with information security rules, internet searches are carried out by children with the help of adults (educators, parents, or legal guardians of minor students). An audio supplement is available on the publisher's website. The boundaries of states are given as of October 2022. 3rd revised edition.
