The textbook presents the main stages of the organization of domestic childhood traumatology, the methodology for examining a child with injury, including instrumental studies (radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound), are described in detail. Clinical and instrumental diagnosis of traumatic damage in children, the principles of conservative and surgical treatment of damage to soft tissues, fractures and dislocations of bones are examined in detail. At the same time, special attention is paid to the fact that the correct diagnosis of traumatic damage to the musculoskeletal system in the child, the choice of optimal treatment tactics can be carried out only when the entire complex of characteristics of normal anatomy, radioanatomy of the spine and segments of the limbs characteristic of one or another age period can be carried out.
