Towers have to leave their studies early in order to begin to provide. One low -paid work replaces the other. Her youth is “nothing more than a simple flaw and obstacle”, and, as before, Tovy longs for poetry, love and real life. While Europe is immersed in the war, she faces absurd bosses, goes to dancing with a new friend, rents her first room, writes “real, mature” poems and remains completely determined in her desire for independence and poetic recognition.

The miracle that happens before our eyes in this poetic prose (perfectly translated by Anna Rahmanko) is a conspiracy from loneliness and misfortune. It seems that for this people expose the soul and post photos on Instagram, and send the news of the living to their spaces. Reading as if holding out your hand, and you will never be alone again. - Lisa Birger for The Blueprint
