The work of Vasily Shukshin is an outstanding phenomenon of the 1960-1970s. The talent of this personality manifested itself in acting, directorial, scenario skill, but it was literary works that brought Shukshin popular glory.
The present edition was included in the film “Your Son and Brother”, according to which Shukshin shot the film in 1966, as well as the writer"s early stories. The film Pobing tells the story of the voivodnik family living in the Altai village on the banks of the Katuni River. In this small work, the most important topics characteristic of Shukshin’s work were clearly manifested: love for the native land, confrontation between generations, the alienation of a person in a big city
