A collection of poems by the Soviet poet Dmitry Artemyevich Smirnov (1917-1993) includes his best works created in the 1940s-1980s: love and civic lyrics, poems about nature, about the fate of contemporaries, poems and ballads, brief poems of aphorisms. In the work of the writer who passed the Great Patriotic War, his front -line experiences and memories were also reflected. The book also included the texts of pop songs to the words of D. A. Smirnov, performed by popular singers (M. Kri-Stalinskaya, T. Gverdtsiteli, O. Voronets, E. Shavrina, L. Mondrus, V. Troshin, I. Kobzon and others ).
