To be a teenager is quite difficult: many responsibilities, study, the need to decide on the future, the desire to stand out among peers, the desire to be considered your opinion on an equal footing. And there is not always strength to cope with all this. Often, emotional experiences result in anger and irritation, after which you experience the torment of conscience. Our society encourages the suppression of feelings (both excessive joy and sadness) - you must always be calm and assembled, i.e. Convenient for others. Perhaps, in response to your experiences, you were told something like “stop attracting attention”, “do not make an elephant” or “just be a man”. However, you cannot forever hide your experiences. This will lead to the fact that you will become even more explosive, conflict, intolerant of other, unsociable or alienated. This workbook is needed so that you learn to express your emotions, do not suppress them, but does not look inadequate at the same time, did not push people out of anger or irritation from yourself.
“Many young people are unhappy and live like that for years, simply because they do not even allow the thought that they may have problems with anger. It is not so easy to recognize your own imperfection, including uncontrolled outbreaks of anger. It seems to adolescents that any problems, failures or lack of skills only confirm their inferiority, so they try to hide their shortcomings and deny their presence. ”
