Every weekend, for a month now, the painter comes to this house with a bucket of white paint and rises to the same room - paint the drawings on the walls. And why this guy, Nico, did not please the paper? Of course, at sixteen many rebel against parents, but why spoil the walls? The painter ends the work and descends the stairs, feeling the teenager’s heavy gaze with his back - he looks either after him, or at the gloomy father waiting at the door. “See you,” the painter says. He knows that he will return in a week.
Only three people are able to understand Nico: Leo"s best friend, beloved girl Claudia and Dali Drawing Teacher. Only a marker on the wall is able to express his feelings. But soon the red paint will burst into the black and white world of Niko. It will soon become clear that dangerous games are not a manifestation of power. That the request for help is not a sign of weakness. And the hero will have to look inside himself - as if in the eyes of a wolf.
The Italian writer Gabriela Klim (born in 1967) is already known to the Russian reader from the book "Sun through the fingers". He often raises in his works addressed to adolescents, social problems and on equal terms talks with young readers about social integration, mental health, limited physical capabilities, migration - and does it masterfully. The novel "Wolf"s Room" became the finalist of the Orbil Award in the "Young Adult" category.
