The young witch Kiki was thirteen, which means that the time has come to start an independent life. But the decision comes pretty quickly - because people will always come in handy for a quick delivery service! And Kiki is taken to work. Ayko Kadono wrote her first stories about Kiki in 1985. Inspired by the success and numerous literary awards of Japan, she continued the story of a young witch - to the joy of fans, among whom was the Great Hayao Miyazaki, who created his animated masterpiece of 1989 on the basis of Kadono"s books.
