Evgeny Aleksandrovich Yevtushenko (1932-2017) is one of the most famous Russian poets of the second half of the 20th-early XXI centuries, one of the main stars of the “poetic boom” of the 50s. He was known as the author of artistic and memoir prose, publicist and screenwriter, tried himself as a director and actor. Yevtushenko is known throughout the world, his works are translated into more than seventy languages.
