"White Fang" is one of the most famous works of the outstanding American writer Jack London. The book transfers the reader to the wild harsh north, where cold and eternal silence reign, where there are places where a person’s leg did not step.
The protagonist of this exciting story is the wolf dog, born in Alaska. Once, on the way to the stream, the wolf cub met the man for the first time - he gave the puppy a nickname white fang and forced him to obey himself implicitly. The tamed wolf had a harsh school of life - he experienced the treachery and cruelty of people, enmity and hatred of dogs. But once a man saved the wolf from death, giving him his kindness and affection. Can a white fang believe a person again and accept his love?
The book is illustrated by the contemporary artist Peter Lyubaev.
About the illustrator:
Pyotr Lyubaev was born in the family of illustratorian artists Sergey Lyubaeva and Maria Spicerova. A graduate of the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts. He studied in the workshop of battalion-historical painting under the guidance of a national artist of Russia, academician of the Russian Academy of Arts N. N. Solomin. He graduated with honors from Mgachi named after V.I. Surikov. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists. He participated in numerous all -Russian and international exhibitions. The works of Peter Lyubaev are in private collections of Russia, the USA, China, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria. In the publishing house "Nigma", the following books were published with the artist’s illustrations: "Five weeks in the balloon", "Around the world in eighty days", "captain of the head of the head", "hearts of three", "two captains"
