George Melnik has many potential readers, but publishers have always treated his work with a share of skepticism. And all because the author writes mainly on ... wine amural themes. "But Omar Hayyam wrote on these topics! He wrote not for the theater, not for high -society techniques, not for the stage and the stands, but for the then feasts in a friendly circle. And his books from century to century find their readers. Georgy Melnik also writes for feasts, for modern feasts, and is successful in them. So is it not a disgrace that he has a lot of grateful listeners and there are no readers, except for those to whom he brings his poems to notebooks with a ballpoint pen? - the admirers who know the author rightly ask.
