The book of the poet and prose writer Galina Shcherbova includes poems of 2017-2019 and single works of earlier periods, which received completion during the preparation of this publication, but all verses were not previously published and represent a kind of creative report. Each of the five sections - "present", "House to Yura", "Feeling of Attraction", "Northern August", "Ancient Light" - has its own orientation, but the division is quite conditional. Between sections there is a roll call, inevitable cross -country intersections. After all, poems always have several faces of one or another turn of poetic thinking and are not an unambiguously defined statement. For the author, the ambiguity of the created images is especially important, which reflect the impressions of contact with various aspects of being. Included in the series "101 poet of the XXI century", the book of poems by Galina Shcherbova reflects the flexible transformation of the classical tradition, which masters the techniques and baggage of the present, is opened by the trends of the future
