Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky (1893-1930) was born in the village of Baghdadi. Not far from the city of Kutaisi, in an impoverished noble family. In 1902, after the death of his father, Mayakovsky with his mother and sisters moved to Moscow. The move to the capital had a significant impact on the future poet.
