Vladimir Vladimirovich Mayakovsky (1893–1930) - a vivid representative of futurism, the famous poet singing the Soviet era. His business card - poems “ladder” - rattled throughout the country, caused controversy, excited the public. However, V. Mayakovsky wanted to be read and loved not
only adults, but also children. Therefore, he wrote his famous cycle of poems for children. The collection includes the best poems of the cycle-“What is good and what is bad?”, “Who to be?”, “What is neither a page, then an elephant, then a lioness”, “horse-foam” and others. An illustrations for them were drawn by the Honored Artist of the RSFSR, an outstanding schedule and book illustrator Juvenal Korovin.
