We bring to your attention tasks for the development of reading skills and competent writing without passes and replacing letters that will help your child successfully prepare for school.
Before you start practicing, check out the following recommendations:
- We pronounce and hear sounds. In the letter, sounds are indicated by letters.
- letters a, o, y, and, s, e, e, e, yu, I denote vowels. A-> [a], o-> [o], y-> [y], and-> [and], s-> [s], e-> [e].
-after soft consonant and solid ([f], [w], [c]) letters e, ё, yu, I denote one vowel sound: e-> [e], e-> [o], Yu-> [y], I-> [a].
-at the beginning of the word, after vowel, after b and signs of the letter e, ё, yu, I denote 2 sounds: e-> [y"e], e-> [y"o], yu-> [Y"u], I-> [y"a].
Therefore, there are only 6 vowels: [a], [o], [y], [s], [and], [e]. E, e, yu, I am letters, not sounds.
- letters g, w, c, indicate only one solid sound: [g], [w], [c].
- the letters h, С-, th denote only one soft sound: [h "], [sch"], [th "].
- the letters b and the sounds do not indicate, these are signs that show the hardness or softness of the previous consonant and separate some vowels from consonants so that they do not merge (b can still perform the function of the softness of the consonants).
- for the development of phonemic hearing (the ability to hear sounds and convert them into letters), children build sound houses for words, painting apartments of vowels with red pencil, hard consonants - blue, soft consonants - green.
- To find out the number of sounds in the word, you need to pronounce all sounds in order and bend your fingers to each sound (for example, the ball-> [m "], [a], [h"]).
- There are many words in Russian, the pronunciation of which diverges with writing. In these cases, we still go from the auditory perception of the word and explain that it is necessary to write this word differently (for example, [stals]-> tables, [burden]-> knife).
We wish you success to your child!
