The series “Masters of the Book Illustration” is designed to introduce readers to the work of the most famous world illustrator artists. The next issue is dedicated to the French lithograph, engraver and illustrator Leon Lebegue (Lebegue, 1863-1944), whose works, undoubtedly, were a model of illustrational art for contemporaries. Famous writers such as Anatole France and Maurice Bushor were also inspired by the drawings of the Lebeg and made them the background of their works.
