The author of this story Kenneth Graham (1859-1932), before becoming a world-famous writer, published several essays, memories of childhood and the story “Dragon-Lezheboka”, according to which a cartoon was set in 1941.
The story “Wind in the willows” K. Gram began to write for his little son, a painful, stubborn, naughty child. It was he who became the prototype of Mr. Toaud - an unbalanced, exalted toad, always involving his friends, and himself, too, in dangerous adventures.
