Dmitry Narkisovich Mamin-Sibiryak (1852-1912)-Russian writer, playwright. Born at the Visimo-Shaytan plant (Ural) in the family of a factory priest. The family lived quite modestly, but thanks to the efforts of my father, the future writer received a good home education. Later D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak studied at the spiritual school of Yekaterinburg and the seminaries of Perm, but the path of the priest did not attract a young man at all, and in 1872 he transferred to St. Petersburg to the medical and surgical academy from Perm. Children"s hobby for literature did not leave him, and in 1875 D.N. Mamin Sibiryak begins to work as a reporter in one of the St. Petersburg newspapers.
In 1877, he returns to the Urals, writes a lot, and already in the early 1880s in St. Petersburg and Moscow magazines many stories, essays and stories of the writer were published.
Your first children"s story "Emelya-Hunter" D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak published in 1884. The writer was very serious about children"s literature, believing that children"s stories "require special attention, because children are the most stringent audience." D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak in an understandable and affordable form described various phenomena of social reality, vividly depicting the life and characters of the edges, gold miners, miners, metallurgists ("twisted", "dungeons", "under the domain").
Peru D.N. Mom"s Sibiryak owns many fairy tales for children. An exciting fairy -tale form of the narrative allows the author to explain to the children what to do, what qualities should be brought up in themselves. So, the fairy tale "Gray Shayka" teaches good, empathy, mutual assistance, "Fairy Tale about the brave hare - long ears, oblique eyes, a short tail" teaches not to be afraid of dangers and difficulties, but safely overcome them and always believe in their own strengths.
