The collection includes both famous and little familiar Ukrainian folk tales - about animals, magical and household. Tales are distinguished by a variety of plots, vivid images, expressive speech. Any of them is interesting to read, whether it is a magical or close to real life.
The real decoration of the collection is the drawings of the talented schedule of Yevgeny Rachev, who first go out with Ukrainian fairy tales in such a full form. The drawings were created in the so -called early period of the artist’s work, the last time they were published in 1955.
