Alexey Arnoldovich Purin (born in 1955 in Leningrad) - poet, essayist, translator. The author of two dozen (including reprints) of poetic collections and three essaysties. He translates German and Dutch (in collaboration with I. M. Mikhailova) poets, published seven translations of translations. Laureate of the St. Petersburg Literary Prize North Palmyra (1996, 2002) and others.
