The first grade ends, tomorrow summer holidays. But Tai is not up to fun, and even the favorite cake of "bird milk" does not please - after all, she did not deserve it. Not because the diary, full of slender and proud five, spoils the one -legged four in mathematics. And not because she offended his cousin (he was generally the first to start, only everything gets away with him!) And therefore ... no, Taea is even ashamed to tell what she did!
But in three months there can happen so much - suddenly, by the fall, everything will somehow decide by itself? Ahead of Thai is the whole summer in the village, with grandfathers of homemade and grandmother"s pies, with old and new friends, the secret of an abandoned house, a detective investigation, a difficult choice and the first real grief. And she has to find out what it is - royal business and how to perform it, and this is also not easy. And although not a single problem is solved by itself, Taya will understand that in her power to cope with everything.
Natalya Savushkina (born in 1976) for a long time worked as the chief bibliographer in the Russian State Children"s Library and the general public is known primarily as a talented literary critic. Her writer"s debut in the publishing house "Komapasgid" - the story "Tsarist business" with the illustrations of the young artist Ekaterina Peschanskaya.
