The authors do not give portrait and psychological characteristics of the heroes, but the features of children"s thinking are very accurately reproduced in the capricious-changing rhythm of poems, in frequent repetitions of individual words and lines, in a quick change in plans and angles. And also - in the sonority of the color scheme, in the generalized interpretation of figures and landscapes, in the abandonment of insignificant details. Pages are literally crowded with rapid movement, air, light, splashes of sea foam.
