Roman Laureate of the National Children"s Literary Prize "Trendy Dream" of the season 2007/2008. Oleg Rain "to the left of the Sun" opens a new series of books of the Socrates" publishing house, addressed primarily to adolescents. The publishing house intends to select the best works of modern authors for this series, which discuss the eternal issues facing the generation of "young men thinking about living": what way to choose in life, what to strive for, what to be, how to build relationships with other people.
"to the left of the sun" is an exciting, ironic, smart and kind book about the 14 -year -old hacker Genke, who, through his own fault and by chance, falls from a big city to an “non -conductive” village. An active and entrepreneurial guy will find a lesson there, but he will be constantly faced with a moral choice, and solving these problems will not be easier for him than to spend electricity to the houses, which have long been thrown back in the century before last.
The book will be interesting to a wide range of readers, and is especially recommended for secondary and senior school age
