For the first time, there are three novels of the classics of Russian children"s literature of Leo Cassil: "Konduit and Swabbrane", "My dear boys" and "Be prepared, Your Highness!" In one volume. In 1915, two brothers Lyol and Oska came up with a fabulous country of Schvambrain. The events that occurred in it mirroring what was happening in Russia - war, revolution, the formation of Soviet power. Even before the war, the school teacher Arseniy Guy and his students - Kapiton, Valera and Timson - came up with a fairy tale about the magical country of Sineria, where brave people live. When the war began, and Guy went to the front, the guys organized a detachment of the “Sinegers" to implement the motto of the fairy tale invented by him - "courage, fidelity, labor, victory." In 1964, the Crown Prince of Dzungakhora, the fictional kingdom of Southeast Asia, arrived at the children"s camp, the Spartak children"s camp. The book is equipped with the author’s biography and illustrations dedicated to the lives of pre -revolutionary schoolchildren and Soviet schoolchildren before the war and in the early sixties
