“The Wizard of the Emerald City” is a fairy tale of Alexander Melentievich Volkov. She was conceived as a retelling of Laimen Frank Baum"s fairy tale “An amazing wizard from the country of Oz,” but the heroes of the story healed their own life, and another story was obtained. Ellie, Scarecrow, Iron Lumberjack, Leo and Totoshka were very fond of readers, and A. Volkov wrote a cycle of 6 books about a magical country. Our book included the first story from this cycle with new drawings of the famous illustrator of the children"s book Vadim Chelak.
“The Wizard of the Emerald City” is a story about strong friendship, which helps to overcome any obstacles, cope with a powerful sorceress and achieve the fulfillment of the most cherished desires. For more than half a century, the story has not lost relevance and has been conquering a place in the hearts of new readers.
