Alexey Khvostenko is one of the most striking representatives of the unofficial St. Petersburg culture of the 60s. The first book of his poems was published in 1965 in Samizdat and was called the Suspect. Since 1977 he was in exile, lived in many countries of the world where his art exhibitions were arranged, books and musical albums were published, and plays were staged. Songs that the tail performed himself performed or in collaboration with the Auktsyon group became widely known. Alexey Khvostenko was a genuine person of the Renaissance - a poet, an artist, a musician, a playwright, director, actor, singer, composer.
