The tramps of the north

James Oliver Kerwood (1878-1927) at the beginning of his life was a passionate hunter, but over the years from the hunter turned into a naturalist traveler T and a defender of wildlife. All the books of this excellent writer were created on the basis of his own experience: before writing "tramps of the North", Kerwood lived in the virgin forests of Northern Canada for three years, studying the lives of animals and their behavior.
The nature of Canada and the life of the four -legged inhabitants of the Canadian North are devoted to his best works. The most famous of them are included in the Golden Fund of American literature: "Kazan", "Son of Kazan", "Grisli", "Tramp of the North" and "in the wilds of the North".
