The name of Mikhail Kuzmin - a poet, translator, critic, composer - is inextricably linked with the culture of the Silver Age. Alexander Blok called him an "artist to the brain of bones", "subtle lyrics", "witty dialectic in art." The creative manner of Kuzmin is equally close to symbolism, acmeism, futurism, but the poet never ranked himself to any poetic school. This publication includes poems of different years. Among them are the debut cycle "Alexandrian Songs", which has become a visiting card cuzmin for many years, and the last book "Trin is defeating ice", which is considered not only the top of his work, but also an outstanding example of poetry of the 1920s, who broke the ice of Soviet censorship And, according to Anna Akhmatova, perceived by contemporaries as "deafening news"
