What is a riddle? Brief and capacious, sometimes intricate and ironic, necessarily-allegorical (and at the same time poetic) description of something.
The literary genre of questions and answers, often built on the principle of a pun or parallelism, has a long history in Russia. But the riddles of Anatoly Yezhov is a sore kind. Because it is a shirt, quatrains with a cunning, with a wise subtext, which the reader has yet to solve. This is a warm -up for the mind, and a poetic vision of the world, and a kind of route for the future.
An example of one of these quatrains: “Do not make riddles, / Kohl do not know the guess yourself. / Like Khinin, grinding of arrogance, / honey of cognition of the world is sweet. ” In this case, the ancient problem of riddles and guesses is wider than it seems at first glance, and thoughts on this topic give a good opportunity to think about both the meaning of life and the place of a person in it.
At the same time, the advice is relevant: “You can sit on the tiger - / it is impossible to get off. / Act at least boldly, / but carefully. So read the book carefully - and enjoy!
