In a tough “telegraph” style, partly a verbatim, partly radio water from the scene of the fighting, Irina Kotova writes about the infected tissues of our society, about the violence that penetrates it. The feminist discourse in its texts intersects with antimilitarian, which is extremely rare for modern poetry. And although today many people write about violence, only a few, like Kotova, find a surgically accurate way to show his all -wrapped, incorporated with culture - and art itself, including poetry - a mimetical mechanism. Irina Kotova was born in Voronezh. She graduated from the Voronezh State Medical Institute and the Literary Institute. A. M. Gorky, Doctor of Medical Sciences. It was printed in the magazines Bulletin of Europe, Air, Mirror, New Literary Review, New World and others.
