At the heart of the “Tale of a Red Girl” is the real life story of the writer Lydia Budogo. This is probably why the heroine Eve Kyun seems so close and understandable to modern readers. Eve lives in a small town in a house in which no one wants to live. The girl’s mother left was the first to leave, and then I had to leave the house and grandmother. Eve remains with a despotistical and cruel father.
