Kataev Valentin Petrovich (1897-1986) - writer, poet, playwright, was born in Odessa, in the teacher of the teacher. His father taught in the Junker and diocesan schools. Along with adults, Vanya defended his homeland from fascist invaders, courageously overcoming all the hardships of that terrible war.
