Roman Mark Twain (1835–1910) “Prince and the Beggar” is the first historical work of the writer, which was published in 1881. The plot of the novel unfolds in England in the middle of the XVI century, when on the same day two boys, similar to each other, were born, but only one was born a prince, and the other poor. The harmless joke of these boys, who accidentally met, turned into a real tragedy for all England. The novel about the heir to the English throne and the back of the back of the back of the yard, the heir to the yard is rightly attributed to the classics of world literature.
