The book "The most favorite fairy tales" included the works of the writer and poet S. Mikhalkov, useful to young readers: "Uncle Styopa", "How the old man sold the cow", "three pigs", "stubborn frog" and other fairy tales in prose and verses. Sergei Mikhalkov came up with fairy -tale heroes who took the last place in children"s literature. Each child dreams of meeting a kind and bold defender, such as a good home-groove, the grandmother of Styopa, or to defeat the terrible and evil wolf, as three brothers-nif-nif, nuf-nuf and naf-naf did. Tales of S. Mikhalkov, like folk tales, are understandable and interesting to modern children.
