Irina Mauler can rightfully be called an original poet. Her poems are metaphorical, deep and musical. And this is no coincidence - often she composes songs on her lines, and reflects poetic plots in picturesque paintings. Poems either lead the reader to "paradise gardens", then they talk about everyday life, then they offer answers to everyday questions, but whatever it was said in verses, they always hear hope for the best. I. Mauler has been living outside of Russia for many years, but Russia invariably remains in her heart, and such a life in two language and household cultures imposes its unique imprint on all the work of the author.
