The book presents fairy tales, legends and myths of various peoples of the world in copyright processing, united by the theme of marine adventures and piracy. Particular attention is paid to the folklore of the coasts of the Black and Baltic Seas: from ancient mythology to the Pomeranian cost of the 19th century. The texts of fairy tales have a developmental nature, give the necessary knowledge on history and geography, teach good and justice. Solving the accompanying tasks, the reader masters the basics of marine affairs, learns to navigate the compass, find the coordinates of the vessel that has a disaster, studies semaphore alphabet and sea nodes.
