Mikhail Alexandrovich Kasatkin (1902-1974) - a talented poet and translator of poetry from European languages. Extremely demanding on himself, as a poet was almost not published during his lifetime. Active correspondence from V.A. Christmas and T.L. From the late 1940s, Shchepkina-Kupernik helped Kasatkin to improve professionally and achieve mature skill in the poetic translation. This book is the first attempt to bring together his literary heritage, including poems and translations of 1930-1970. The publication is dedicated to the 115th birthday of the poet.
